HOLLYWOOD, FL (August 24, 2026) — The Hard Rock Bet Party is back on, but this time it’s “After Dark,” a new nighttime chapter where the action keeps going and you never know what might happen next. Created in partnership with 72andSunny New York, Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook’s fall campaign introduces new plotlines and several new partygoers, headlined by entertainer Fat Joe, football Hall of Famers Michael Irvin and Jimmy Johnson, professional golfer John Daly, and basketball legends Udonis Haslem and Joakim Noah.

The party kicks off with the hero spot “Everybody,” featuring Fat Joe, Jimmy Johnson and Michael Irvin. In the spot, Fat Joe escorts a new guest through the packed party, where total strangers, including Johnson and Irvin greet him by name, because at the Hard Rock Bet Party, everybody is somebody and everyone is invited.

“Everybody” isn’t just the name of the launch spot. Through October 4, everybody – qualifying new and returning players – can receive Hard Rock Bet’s welcome (back) offer of Bet $5, Get $100 in Bonus Bets. The campaign spots will also feature Hard Rock Bet’s free-to-play Survivor contest, which kicks off in Week 4 for Florida players, along with other engaging promotions and activations that will run all season long, while additional spots highlight the app’s safety features and responsible gaming tools.

“I’ve always loved working with Hard Rock Bet because they know how to make everybody feel special,” Fat Joe said. “That message definitely comes across in our commercial and it was a blast working together with Jimmy Johnson and Michael Irvin to put it all together.”

“It’s always a pleasure working with the Hard Rock brand, and they created a really cool party vibe on set. Yes, the Hard Rock Bet Party is fun, but there’s also a safety and responsibility aspect. Well done,” said Jimmy Johnson.

“It’s not a party without the Playmaker. Excited to be back – this time After Dark – because the action never stops with my friends at Hard Rock Bet. We did the futbol thing this summer, and that was cool for the World Cup, but now it’s football season – the big stage, the bright lights. It’s a special time of year and everybody is invited,” said Michael Irvin.

Now in its third iteration, the Hard Rock Bet Party brings the energy and entertainment of the Hard Rock Bet app into the real world and builds on its “Roll With Us” brand platform, which launched in 2024. The Hard Rock Bet Party “After Dark” elevates the experience, leaning into the unpredictability of sports and the energy of never knowing what might happen next.

“The campaign creative continues to evolve, but our core invitational message has stayed the same: there’s a place for everybody and entertainment for anybody at the Hard Rock Bet Party,” said Lauren Varnas, Vice President of Brand Marketing at Hard Rock Digital. “The Hard Rock Bet Party has always been about making sports betting feel more entertaining, social and welcoming. With ‘After Dark,’ we have a fresh canvas to deliver that same invitation with new personalities, unexpected moments and the energy of football season.”

“We’re excited to bring the Hard Rock Bet Party into its next chapter with the additions of Fat Joe, Jimmy Johnson, Udonis Haslem and Joakim Noah,” said Geno Burmester, Group Creative Director, 72andSunny New York. “The idea was always to build a world fans could physically feel themselves inside of — the music, the crowd, the unpredictable humor of what happens next. This season just turns the lights down and keeps the party going.”

The campaign will run through the end of football season across TV, radio and streaming, paid social, out of home and more. More information can be found in the app and at HardRock.bet.

Sports commentator Jonathan Coachman spoke exclusively to Hard Rock Bet and reviewed the weekend’s action in the FedExCup Playoffs where Scottie Scheffler won by eight shots.

Coachman also previewed the possibility of a PGA return for Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, predicting they could both rejoin by 2027.

Outside of golf, Coachman discussed Jake Paul’s entry into MMA as a promoter and the possibility of him fighting Francis Ngannou.

The 53-year-old is most known for his time at WWE as an announcer and commentator before becoming the interim General Manager. Known most for his interactions with The Rock, Coachman also revealed one reason why Dwayne Johnson could return for WrestleMania next year.

Scottie Scheffler is today’s Tiger Woods

Looking back at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, how impressive was Scottie Scheffler, and how important was it for him to win a tournament again?

Oh, he was fantastic. Scottie is one of those guys that kind of defies the odds. The stats don’t really match up with normally what a player does to be the number one player with all the points.

It was only his second win, but I wrote it down earlier, he had 17 top 25s. He has five second-place finishes, finished third twice, and has 12 top fives. The man is just incredible. It’s almost unlucky that he only has one win this year before the weekend.

It’s almost unlucky. He should have five or six. He should have one or two majors too. Watching him in person is absolutely amazing. He’s kind of the Tiger Woods, just kind of the softer type of athlete than Tiger Woods when he wants to step on your neck.

Now he becomes the third-youngest player to ever get to 21 wins, as well, behind Jack and behind Tiger. He’s right there and it’s amazing to watch him up close and personal.

I’ve been with the PGA Tour for about eight years now, so getting to be behind the scenes and behind the curtain, Scottie Scheffler is an absolute dog. Scottie Scheffler is an absolute beast, and the last couple of years, he had six wins in ’24, six wins in ’25.

Even though there’s this narrative out there that Scottie is unbeatable, that Scottie’s going to just walk it, and he won by eight shots on Sunday but that has not been the case in 2026. He only has one win.

He wants to win. He wants to have all those great types of numbers and to only have one win, he wants to be the player of the year as well. If there’s a couple of other players that have three wins, he needed to have a win, and look what happened.

Then he’s going to go to St. Louis, and I think he’s going to win there, and then he can make history. There’s never been a player that has won every single FedEx Cup event, and he has the opportunity to do that.

The PGA must bring Bryson DeChambeau back

LIV Golf looks set to call time. Do you think we could maybe see Bryson DeChambeau back on the PGA Tour?

I think we need it. In 2028, anybody that follows golf knows that we’re expanding. There’s going to be basically two tours and then still the Korn Ferry Tour. So, three tours, essentially, and I love this saying. There is no substitute for star power.

Whether you’re talking about Bryson DeChambeau, whether you’re talking about Jon Rahm, who’s already made it known that he’s going to go back to the DP World Tour at the end of this year, you can’t go to players that you offered $100 million, $200 million, some $300 million, and then say, “Hey, we don’t have any investors now, but we’re going to give you equity in the league.” So long term, you can really cash out.

Well, I don’t know about you, but when I hear equity, I need equity in something that has value, and right now, LIV has no value. This was a “We’re paying stars to come and play golf for us, and we’re paying a few of them a ton of money.”

When you pull that and now all of a sudden Saudi Arabia looks at all their stuff, whether it’s LIV, NASCAR, soccer, WWE, whatever it is, they want a return on their investment. They don’t just want to spend $100 million anymore and not get anything back.

So, 1000% we’re going to see Bryson. I think we’re going to see Jon Rahm. I think they’re going to do whatever they can, whatever in their power they can, to get the PGA Tour to welcome them back. If not by 2027, certainly by 2028.

Jake Paul can compete with Dana White, expect him to fight in MMA

Jake Paul’s got involved and has merged PFL with MVP. How big do you think that is for MMA?

I think he can make a really big difference. I said this on a couple of my shows the last few weeks ever since they announced the Strategic Partnership between PFL and MVP, and now I think it’s just going to be called MVP moving forward.

If you look at it right now, John Martin is making all the right decisions, because to me, without the MVP partnership, I don’t think the PFL could have survived. There’s no, and I told them when I walked out the door, I said, “Listen, guys, you need some juice.”

I believe that if they get a little more out there and a little more publicity, that they can be somebody that people think of first instead of, “Well, it’s the UFC and everybody else” because let’s be honest, ever since the UFC got the money from Paramount+, there is no incentive to give great fights every single time out.

There is no incentive to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to rent out an arena when you have the Apex, and you can put four or 500 people there in Las Vegas. So, to me, for the PFL, there is incentive. So now they can potentially have a partnership with Netflix.

They can potentially have a partnership with ESPN, because of Jake Paul. To me, there’s been great people over the years that have defied the odds. Jake Paul, nobody wanted to give him respect but then he makes a great partnership with a guy that used to be at the UFC.

All of a sudden, he’s now producing numbers for Netflix with Mike Tyson, with Anthony Joshua. The guy, give the guy credit. He steps in there against some of the baddest dudes. Anthony Joshua’s a bad dude. He’s a former world heavyweight champion.

Jake Paul is also not scared of Dana White. He is willing to do his own thing. He backs females, which nobody else has ever done at this level, so he has a deal now with ESPN. So to me, Jake Paul should be given all the credit in the world, because when you think of all great promoters and great companies, guess what?

At one point they had to start at ground level. And I think that’s where a lot of fans don’t want to give Jake Paul credit. They think that he needs to be where the UFC is today. That’s not how you build up no matter who you are and no matter who you’re chasing after.

Do you think Jake Paul will fight in MMA?

He’s crazy, but he also understands that’s the big money. I think we forget sometimes that this is prize fighting. Boxing, MMA, bareknuckle boxing. It’s prize fighting. You’re out there to fight for a living.

And if you’re going to step in against Anthony Joshua, or Francis Ngannou in MMA, you want to do it for the biggest check because you don’t know you’re going to walk out of there in one piece. So, to me, that’s the other part about Jake Paul. He’s not scared.

He was a big-time wrestler when he was younger. He’s got a wrestling background. But we also, I think we’re getting into an era in the UFC and PFL and all MMA, where we’re starting to try and phase out wrestlers.

I don’t know how great of a striker he is, and I know he’s had a lot of boxing, but to me, if he’s going to step in, it’s going to be once or twice, and everything he does is so strategic, that if the reason he did it on Netflix, it is so that he gets other people promoted.

So if he’s going to do it, it’s going to be against somebody big. And Francis Ngannou would be absolutely amazing. I would be terrified, and I’ve been in the ring when I was in WWE with Brock Lesnar and some of the biggest. I think I would be absolutely scared to death to step in there with a Francis Ngannou or an Anthony Joshua.

I give them all the credit in the world. Do I believe that he will do an MMA fight in the next, let’s say the next two years. I really believe that.

Brock Lesnar is the most underrated wrestler of all time

Brock Lesnar has retired from WWE, what is his legacy?

He is maybe the most underrated superstar of all time. I think a lot of people think he’s so scary that he’s not a good businessman in wrestling. When I say a good businessman, I think of the likes of The Rock. I think of Hulk Hogan. I think of Brock Lesnar.

Fans have to understand when I use those names, you’ve got to be able to separate how you feel personally about the talent and what they actually did in the business. We’re all human beings.

We all are flawed. We all make mistakes. We all say things at certain points in our careers when you have a camera in front of you at all times.

I think there’s a perception with Brock that he has come and gone as he pleased, that he did what he wanted to for the most money. Guess what? Vince McMahon allowed him to do that. When I worked for Vince and I was next to him on his private jet for three or four years, every single week, I learned a lot about the man, and he loved big guys.

He loved guys like André the Giant and Big John Studd, the Undertaker, Kane. And Brock Lesnar falls into that category because he’s 330 pounds and 2% body fat. But this guy is probably as smart as a worker in wrestling as you’re ever going to find. He really is.

At the end of the day, he wanted to make a ton of money, which he did, and he didn’t want to work very much, which he did. I think that he probably feels pretty good about himself because he walks out, he retires by putting a new young stud over in Oba Femi.

I think now Oba can walk in and become one of the new young faces, and Brock can feel really, really good about himself that he did what we call business on the way out of the door.

Experiences with The Rock and Stone Cold

What was it like working with the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold in particular?

It was a dream. It’s not something that I dreamed of doing. I grew up wanting to be a sportscaster. My dream was ESPN, which ultimately, I achieved but with a 10, 11-year detour to the WWE.

But what I think working with those guys did for me was, specifically The Rock, taught me about performance. He taught me about pausing, he taught me about talking, eye contact, all those formative things that when you watch a lot of people that are interviewed, that are on camera, they don’t do a lot of those things.

And I like to say that I can separate myself as a high-level talent as opposed to other people that just haven’t been trained. In 2026, you have a lot of people that just go out there, and they make a nice living, they haven’t been trained to do this as a high level.

That’s what The Rock always taught me, and he also taught me this, which a couple other people have as well. This is why I’m so bullish when I do my own wrestling shows. Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, who was gone for three months, I’m adamant that they have to show up. I said this on my golf broadcast with Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, who doesn’t have to play next week, but they are.

To me, when you’re in entertainment, and you make a ton of money like The Rock did, or Stone Cold Steve Austin, and you’re coming to the Quad Cities, or you’re coming to Minneapolis, or you’re coming to Dallas, Texas. If I’m a young kid or a young adult, or just a fan in general, you deserve to see the biggest stars in the company that you support.

That’s the one thing The Rock, when he was at his peak, he was on the road 28, 29 days a month between wrestling shows and autographs, and he would take every time. If he was offered $25,000 or $50,000 to sign autographs, he was going to take it. And Stone Cold was the same way, but Stone Cold was different. Stone Cold took it very, very seriously.

Stone Cold took his character very seriously, and if you use the word fake around him, oh, I would run for the hills. This guy, to him, he’s had neck surgery. This business is very, very difficult on your body. It can be to the point where you can’t walk again sometimes. We’ve seen some devastating injuries over the years.

That’s how Stone Cold looked at wrestling. To get to work with them, then to ultimately be in the ring with them, and I still believe this, I took one of the best Stunners of all time. Scott Hall, The Rock, and I think The Coach is right up there with that.

Favorite moment in WWE

What was a standout moment in your WWE career?

Well, I think after 2003, my first four years, I came in as a commentator, I came in as an announcer, I came in as a guy who was just the microphone backstage. I knew at 6’3″, 250 pounds, that maybe I had more to offer.

But the last thing I wanted to do was go train to try to get on the level of The Rock or Stone Cold or any of these guys that wrestle full-time. But I knew when Vince approached me in 2003 about becoming a character, I was like, “I can do that.” And he said, “But you got to learn how to work.” I said, “I can do that, too.”

But that way, I won’t have to wrestle full-time, but I’ll still know how to do it. And I thought I was like the perfect hybrid between being one of the boys and being just an announcer.

When we were in San Diego, I believe it was 2006, and I kind of knew that I was on my way out. I knew if I signed another deal to stay here past the 10 or 11-year mark, that I’m going to have what I call the wrestling stink on me for a minute.

I’m never going to be able to do regular sports again. So, I knew I couldn’t sign another deal. When I had a rivalry with Eugene, The Rock called us one day when he was in LA, we were going to be in San Diego.

He’s like, “Hey, man, I’ve been watching what you’ve been doing with Eugene.” He called the office. He goes, “I would like to do a segment with you guys in San Diego.” It was scheduled for 11 and 12 minutes.

The Rock gets there. We stuck him in a car. Nobody knew he was there, and it will always be the favorite moment of my career because it was the first time that he comes out, brings Eugene back down and I’m standing in the ring as I had just gotten rid of him.

It was the first time, and this was The Rock’s idea, that I was able to back-talk to The Rock, that I was able to say something back to him, and it was scheduled for 11 or 12 minutes. It went 26 minutes, I think.

The other thing that The Rock taught me is, if you’re going to go long, because this is TV time we’re talking about, you’re taking somebody else’s match time. He said “Well, you better make it good. You better make it great.” That segment was one of the best segments I think there’s ever been. I’ve said this. I don’t know that my wrestling career is over.

I think when I watch wrestling today that there’s a place for somebody as talented as myself. Right now, you only got Paul Heyman, who’s the manager. Not a lot of other people are great talkers. My wrestling shows that I do are getting really, really big as well.

The Rock’s future in WWE

Do you think The Rock will come back for one final fight at WrestleMania?

I’m 50-50 on it because here’s where a lot of people don’t understand. He is a social media beast. Since February last year, he has not made one, not one social media post about wrestling.

He’s on the board of directors and they have paid him upwards of $80 to $100 million to be on the board. And if you and I were on the board of any company, and they’re paying me $80 million, you best believe I am putting out social media posts probably every single day.

The fact that he hasn’t since basically the John Cena debacle tells me there’s something else going on. There is only one thing that can get him back in the fold is this: The Rock loves a big payday. He also loves an easy payday.

If it’s $15 or $20 million for one trip to Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania next year, I most certainly think that could happen.

Possible return to the wrestling business

Would you be open to a WWE return or AEW?

1,000%. To me, it’s not all the same, but it’s all the same. We just had Tony Khan on my show with me and Vince Russo, who’s one of the great writers of all time. We call it the Coach and Bro Show. What we do is we call it down the middle. If something stinks, we’re going to tell you. If something’s great, we’re going to praise it.

And WWE doesn’t necessarily like that. I just had a SiriusXM show that was a hit. Then they re-ran WWE radio, and I’m the only guy that’s on the outside looking in because a lot of times people never want to be honest looking at themselves.

Well, AEW, we were equally as critical, and Tony Khan agreed to come on our show, and he did come on our show. We did ask him a very difficult question because he does things that are different mistakes, I call them, than WWE, but he’s also a guy that’s a gentleman.

People love working for him, and that’s not necessarily what you could always say about Vince McMahon or some of the new people in charge now. So, 1,000 percent I would be open if the opportunity came up to go to AEW for sure.

Direction of WWE

How do you rate WWE right now?

Well, here’s the problem: wrestling is based off of storylines and if you only have matches, can you imagine watching your favorite TV show without storylines?

To me, the great wrestling storylines are The Rock and Austin, or The Rock and Cena, or Kane and Taker, or TLC with the Hardys, the Dudleys and Edge and Christian. But you have to have emotion.

To me, part of the reason I think I’ve lasted this long is that I have emotion. Like, I’m excited right now sitting here talking to you. This excites me, because the subject matter excites me. I think right now at WWE, when they were bought by TKO, a lot of times in sports and entertainment, you get caught up in the money as opposed to what got you the money.

When you get a deal that’s $5 billion from Netflix, $1.6 billion from ESPN, UFC gets $7.7 billion from Paramount+. So now you’ve got all these billions of dollars that are coming into one company. What is their incentive to put the best product out there or bring in the biggest stars? Or to have a bunch of high-paid guys? Because every dime you spend, think about this in your own business or in my business.

If somebody pays me up front, $100 million. Now, every dime I spend is now coming out of that $100 million instead of the old pay-per-view model that everything you promote, if you get 100,000, 200, 300,000 buys, now you’re making money, that’s a different feeling than spending money that you already have.

I think creative too [has an issue], and I know all these guys, and I don’t want to be hypercritical, but when I work with Vince Russo, he has a solution for everything that we talk about on the show. Why didn’t you like this storyline? “I didn’t like it, and here’s why.” We’ve gotten to a point where we actively see WWE using the stuff we talk about on the show.

We said the other day, “Chelsea Green, she’s hurt? Well, don’t take her off the show. Let her stay on because she’s incredibly entertaining. Let her work with a mask. She doesn’t have to work matches.”

And what did they do? They did exactly what we said. I’m not saying they did it because of us. But they did exactly that and all of a sudden she became the biggest babyface in the world because she’s like, “listen, this means something to me.” And then she gets Nick Aldis to get over, too.

To me, it’s all about, do you have the creative ability? And I don’t think in that room, because when you watch WWE Unreal, and they had this one scene in Unreal where they were talking about who’s going to win one big match. And it was like puppets. It was like Punk, Punk. Punk, Punk, Punk. And I was like, does nobody have a mind of their own?

Well, there was only one person that ever spoke up in that meeting with one Unreal. And guess what happened to him? Road Dogg got cut. He got fired and he is one of the best friends of Triple H.

So right now, they have to reevaluate everything. To me, if you’ve been in that room over 30 years, like, a lot of them have Michael Hayes, Bruce, Ed, I never want anybody to lose their job, because it sucks. It’s happened to me several times.

No matter how good you are, it sucks when you do. But if you’re not actively trying to be better, if you’re not actively trying to do your job, why is it the talent that is taking it on the head instead of the creative that’s giving the talent, the storylines to go out there and try to execute?

And to me, right now, none of the creative has gotten the axe outside of Road Dogg, and he didn’t get the axe because of anything other than fighting for Chelsea Green. So I think right now, they need to do a complete overhaul, and if they do that, I think that it could be a much better atmosphere.

The AFC East has played a significant role in NFL history for more than half a century. Home to four of the league’s most recognizable franchises, the division has featured dynasties, Hall of Fame quarterbacks, iconic rivalries, and countless memorable moments. Whether it’s the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, or New York Jets, every season begins with the same objective: winning the AFC East and securing a place in the postseason.

Betting on the AFC East division winner is one of the NFL’s most popular futures markets at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook. With just four teams in the race, bettors can evaluate offseason additions, coaching changes, roster improvements, and schedule strength before deciding which club is best positioned to finish atop the standings. As the season unfolds, division odds adjust in response to injuries, transactions, and on-field results, creating opportunities to find value throughout the year.

Current AFC East Odds

Here are the live odds for each team to win the AFC East:

How to Read the AFC East Odds

AFC East division odds are presented using the standard American moneyline format. Teams listed with negative odds (-) enter the market as favorites, while teams with positive odds (+) are considered underdogs.

Negative odds show how much you need to wager to earn a $100 profit, while positive odds indicate how much profit you’ll receive on a $100 bet.

For example:

Bills -145: Bet $145 to win $100 in profit ($245 total payout).

Jets +2000: Bet $100 to win $2,000 in profit ($2,100 total payout).

In general, the shorter the odds, the greater the implied probability that a team wins the division. Longer odds signal a less likely outcome but also offer a larger potential return if your wager cashes.

What to Know About Betting the AFC East

Betting on the AFC East starts with understanding the strengths, weaknesses, and outlook for each team. From division winner futures to season-long markets, here’s what you need to know before placing your bets.

Division futures simplify the NFL season

Picking a division winner is one of the most straightforward NFL futures wagers available. Unlike betting on the Super Bowl, where all 32 teams begin the season with a chance to lift the Lombardi Trophy, an AFC East division future requires you to evaluate only four teams over the course of the regular season.

Because the field is smaller, many bettors prefer divisional futures as an entry point into season-long NFL wagering.

Familiar opponents create informed markets

No teams know each other better than division rivals. Every AFC East club plays the other three teams twice each season, creating six games that have a major impact on the standings.

Those frequent matchups also give bettors plenty of information to work with. Coaching tendencies, quarterback play, roster strengths, offseason additions, and even scheduling advantages become easier to evaluate when the same teams meet every year. That familiarity can help identify betting value before the market fully adjusts.

Timing can make all the difference

Division odds rarely remain static throughout the year. A successful free-agent signing, an impactful draft class, or a favorable early-season schedule can cause prices to shorten before Week 1. Once the regular season begins, every win, loss, and injury influences the market.

Some bettors prefer locking in a price before training camp, while others wait until several weeks into the season to see how teams perform before making a wager. Neither approach is inherently better – the key is identifying value before the odds move.

Hard Rock Bet updates AFC East odds throughout the offseason and regular season, allowing bettors to react to the latest news and market movement before placing a wager.

AFC East Teams

The AFC East is home to four franchises with distinct identities and plenty of history. The Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and New York Jets have each experienced periods of success, creating one of the NFL’s most recognizable divisions. Here’s a closer look at each club.

Buffalo Bills: The Modern Standard

Stadium: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, New York

Last AFC East Division Title: 2024

The Buffalo Bills have been one of the AFC’s most consistent contenders in recent years, winning five consecutive AFC East titles from 2020 through 2024. Under franchise quarterback Josh Allen, Buffalo has developed into an annual playoff team while regularly competing for the conference’s top seed.

Allen’s unique ability as both a passer and runner has helped make the Bills one of the league’s most dangerous offenses, while a consistently strong defense has kept Buffalo among the NFL’s elite. Although the team’s streak atop the AFC East ended in 2025, the Bills remain one of the division’s premier franchises and enter every season with legitimate championship aspirations.

Miami Dolphins: Looking to Climb the Standings

Stadium: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida

Last AFC East Division Title: 2008

The Miami Dolphins are one of the NFL’s most historic organizations, highlighted by the league’s only perfect season in 1972 and two Super Bowl championships. While postseason appearances have come and gone over the past two decades, the franchise is still searching for its first AFC East title since 2008.

Miami has undergone significant changes in recent seasons as the organization works to establish long-term stability and return to consistent playoff contention. With a proud history and a commitment to building for the future, the Dolphins continue their pursuit of climbing back to the top of the division.

New England Patriots: A New Chapter Begins

Stadium: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts

Last AFC East Division Title: 2025

Few teams in NFL history have enjoyed the sustained success of the New England Patriots. During the franchise’s two-decade dynasty, the Patriots captured six Super Bowl championships and dominated the AFC East, establishing one of the greatest runs professional football has ever seen.

After transitioning into a new era, New England quickly returned to the top of the division by winning the AFC East in 2025. That success signaled the beginning of a new chapter for one of the league’s flagship franchises, as the Patriots once again positioned themselves among the AFC’s contenders.

New York Jets: Chasing a Return to the Top

Stadium: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey

Last AFC East Division Title: 2002

The New York Jets have spent much of the past two decades searching for sustained success in one of the NFL’s most competitive divisions. Although the franchise has experienced its share of memorable moments, including a Super Bowl III victory that remains one of the sport’s greatest upsets, an AFC East title has remained elusive since 2002.

The Jets continue to invest in their roster while working toward ending the league’s longest active postseason drought. A return to playoff contention remains the organization’s primary goal as it looks to reestablish itself alongside the AFC East’s perennial contenders.

What History Tells Us About AFC East Betting

The AFC East has been a fixture of the NFL since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, though its roots date back even further to the original American Football League’s Eastern Division. Over the decades, the division has been home to some of the league’s most successful franchises, legendary quarterbacks, and championship teams, helping shape the modern NFL.

From the Miami Dolphins’ dominance during the 1970s to the Buffalo Bills’ run of four consecutive AFC championships in the early 1990s and the New England Patriots’ unprecedented dynasty in the 2000s and 2010s, the AFC East has consistently produced teams capable of competing for Super Bowls. More recently, Buffalo has emerged as one of the conference’s premier contenders, while New England returned to the top of the division in 2025, reinforcing just how quickly the balance of power can shift.

That history is part of what makes the AFC East such an appealing futures market. Every season brings new expectations, roster changes and storylines, while the familiarity of six divisional games often creates one of the NFL’s most competitive races.

Divisional Dominance

No franchise has enjoyed more success in the AFC East than the New England Patriots. Fueled by one of the greatest dynasties in professional sports, the Patriots have won the division 23 times since the AFL-NFL merger, including an NFL-record 11 consecutive titles from 2009 through 2019.

Buffalo has climbed the leaderboard with the second-most division titles with its sustained success this decade, while the Miami Dolphins rank closely behind, thanks in large part to their dominance during the Don Shula era. The Jets continue to search for their first AFC East crown since 2002.

AFC East Division Titles (Since 1970)

New England Patriots: 23

Buffalo Bills: 15

Miami Dolphins: 13

New York Jets: 4

While history provides useful context, division races are rarely decided by past accomplishments. Injuries, offseason acquisitions, coaching changes, and quarterback play often reshape the odds each year, making the AFC East one of the NFL’s more intriguing futures markets.

Championship Pedigree

The AFC East has produced some of the NFL’s most accomplished franchises, combining for nine Super Bowl championships and numerous conference titles.

New England’s six Lombardi Trophies account for more than half of the division’s total, while Miami captured back-to-back Super Bowls in the early 1970s, including the NFL’s only perfect season in 1972. The Jets’ victory in Super Bowl III remains one of the biggest upsets in league history after Joe Namath famously guaranteed a win over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts.

Buffalo is the lone AFC East franchise still searching for its first Super Bowl championship, despite reaching four consecutive Super Bowls from 1990 through 1993 – an achievement no other team has matched.

Super Bowl Championships

New England Patriots: 6

Miami Dolphins: 2

New York Jets: 1

Buffalo Bills: 0

The division’s championship history is one reason AFC East futures continue to attract attention every season. Established contenders, emerging challengers, and decades of history combine to make the race one of the NFL’s most closely followed.

Recent AFC East Winners

Here’s a look at the five most recent AFC East champions and how each team reached the top of the division.

2025 New England Patriots: The Patriots returned to the top of the AFC East in 2025, capturing their first division title since 2019 and signaling the beginning of a new era in Foxborough. After several seasons of rebuilding following the end of the franchise’s historic dynasty, New England reestablished itself by not only winning the division – but winning the AFC and earning a Super Bowl birth.

2024 Buffalo Bills: Buffalo claimed its fifth consecutive AFC East championship in 2024, continuing one of the most successful stretches in franchise history. Behind another standout campaign from Josh Allen, the Bills once again paired an explosive offense with a disciplined defense to finish atop the division and extend their reign in the AFC East.

2023 Buffalo Bills: The Bills secured another AFC East title in 2023, reinforcing their status as one of the NFL’s elite teams. Buffalo remained among the conference’s Super Bowl contenders throughout the season, using its experienced core and consistent play to fend off the rest of the division.

2022 Buffalo Bills: Buffalo successfully defended its division crown in 2022, winning the AFC East for the third straight season. The Bills continued to establish themselves as one of the league’s most complete teams, finishing with one of the AFC’s best records while earning another home playoff game.

2021 Buffalo Bills: The Bills captured the AFC East for the second consecutive year in 2021 after building on the momentum of their breakout 2020 campaign. Josh Allen’s continued development, combined with one of the NFL’s stingiest defenses, helped Buffalo remain comfortably ahead of the rest of the division.

Compared to this, a much lower percentage are looking up different live roulette strategies (14%), showing that tactical considerations are a much lower priority than discovering basic information on how the game works. Finally, a third of searches (33%) relate to bets and payouts, suggesting that possible returns and different wagering options are a strong area of interest.

In New Jersey, we can see a similar pattern with search intent. Over two-fifths of live roulette searches (43%) are related to understanding the rules of the game, indicating either an increase in newer players or a general desire to grasp the basics. Again, a similar number of people were searching for strategy-related topics, with this taking up 15% of the total live roulette-related searches – indicating once more that North Americans show a lesser interest in tactics. Nearly a third (31%) of New Jersey’s live roulette searches are then about bets and payouts, which shows a slight decrease in interest for returns and wagering options.

Pennsylvania also shows a similar pattern, with a higher search rate for rules (46%), indicating a greater need to understand the basics. Looking at their slightly lower searches for strategy (14%) and bets and payouts (30%), they seem to have differing priorities, even if the differences are only minor.

Ontario, Canada, however, shows the greatest change in priorities. Though their percentage of searches related to rules is similar to the American states (41%), players there show an increased interest in strategy, with almost a fifth (18%) of their searches being related to the more tactical side of the game. Searches related to bets and payouts, however, have taken a slight hit, reducing to under a third (29%).

Now taking a wider look across the U.S., let’s see what America’s favorite roulette numbers are. By analyzing the number of times a bet has been placed with each number, we have been able to pinpoint the most frequently chosen digits and see what percentage they are of all straight bets as well.

Topping the list as the most popular number for straight up bets is 0. With 797,088 bets placed on it, it’s the most frequently selected number and took up 3.22% of all straight bets.

The least popular number in live roulette is 00. Seeing just 421,409 bets placed, it’s significantly less selected than 0, leaving its share of all straight bets at just 1.70%.

Overall patterns have been able to highlight some interesting trends in people’s betting behavior. Out of the top 10 most popular bets, only three are even numbers, suggesting that odd numbers are a more frequently preferred choice.

This can be seen clearly as traditional favorites like 7, 11, 17, and 23 rank among the most bet-on numbers after being positioned in the top five. Each of these numbers has attracted more than 715,000 bets, with 11 placing in second behind 0, making up a share of 3.07% of all straight bets.

Numbers that are also typically considered to be “unlucky,” though, seem to appear lower down in the list. With dates such as “Friday the 13th” and general superstition, 13 may be consciously avoided by many as it sits in the bottom 15.

Conversely, 0’s popularity could potentially be linked to its green color. In Irish culture, green and luck have an association, and as one of two green numbers on the roulette wheel, maybe 0 really is as fortunate as people make it out to be!

We’ve looked at Americans’ favorite roulette numbers, but does this vary with different bet types? Looking at red vs. black, odd vs. even, low vs. high, and dozens, we’ve seen that Americans’ favorite and least favorite numbers are reinforced across multiple roulette bet types.

Looking at color betting, the pattern of preferred numbers is something to be expected, with the overall popularity rankings mirroring what we see here. When placing bets on colors, 23 is the most popular red number (3rd favorite overall) and 11 is the most popular black number (2nd favorite overall). Similarly, the least popular red number is 34 (37th favorite overall), and the least popular black number is 6 (36th favorite overall).

Odd and even bets do differ slightly, however. The most popular even number was shown to be 0, and the most popular odd number was shown to be 7. Conversely, Americans’ least popular even number is 34 and least popular odd number is 31. Again, these are mostly reflected in the list of generic preferred digits, showing a continued pattern.

Americans placing low (1-18) and high (19-36) bets have also revealed clear patterns when placing bets. When selecting a low number, bettors appear to prefer 11, and when selecting a high number, bettors appear to prefer 23. Then the opposite end of the spectrum shows that bettors’ least favorite low number is 6, and bettors’ least favorite high number is 34.

Finally, looking at dozens, some familiar numbers can be seen cropping up again. Bettors placing a first dozen (1-12) seem to prefer the number 11 and often avoid the number 6. Second dozen bets (13-24) show that 17 is the most popular and 13 is the least popular, again showing potential superstition coming into play. Then third dozen bets (25-36) have lucky number 23 as the most popular, with 34 sitting as the least popular.

Across these different bet types, we see that bettors continue to favor similar numbers. Some in particular can reflect superstitions, with the numbers considered “lucky” and “unlucky” still being favored or avoided when possible.

These Are the Most Popular Roulette Strategies Based on Millions of Bets

Learning people’s favorite numbers is all well and good, but what about America’s favorite strategies? What tactics are people in the U.S. using the most?

Well, the most popular live roulette strategy is a straight up bet (wager on a single number), with 24,762,435 total bets being placed using this method. Accounting for 81.5% of categorized bets, Americans clearly like to bet on specific numbers over bets on color, or dozens.

Split bets (wager on two adjacent numbers) are then the second-most popular choice, with 2,907,558 bets placed using this strategy. However, it takes up a much smaller share of all categorized bets (9.57%) than a straight up bet, with no other bet type coming close.

Corner/square bets (wager covering four numbers) rank third, with 1,115,249 bets placed using this method. Again, there’s a steep drop-off from the popularity of others, making up just 3.67% of all categorized bets.

Just because they’re popular doesn’t mean that people place much money on them. Likely due to their 1:1 payout odds, strategies such as red vs. black, odd vs. even, and high vs. low bets have the largest average bet size ($21.10). Contrastingly, despite being the most popular bet, straight up bets see the smallest average bet size ($5-$7), potentially due to their longer payout odds of 35:1.

This pattern can be seen across all bets, with the average wager size generally decreasing as the roulette odds increase.

Throughout the U.S., it’s evident that there are a variety of betting patterns that highlight preferred numbers and strategies. With the growing interest in live roulette across America, finding out the roulette betting habits of people in the U.S. has provided a unique insight into the online casino world as participation continues to evolve.

While American roulette is a game of chance, the data indicates that the behavior of players is anything but random. Through a combination of superstition and personal preference, specific numbers, such as the traditionally “lucky” 7 and 0, crop up frequently, with “unlucky” number 13 being much less popular.

If you’re thinking about hopping on the trend and joining others, there’s no better place to play online roulette than Hard Rock Bet. Players have the choice between American roulette, European roulette or French roulette, giving you even more variations and entertainment.

Players should always check their local laws and Hard Rock Bet eligibility requirements before playing, with online casino availability varying by state. Live roulette can only be played in legal U.S. and Canadian states. Roulette is legal to play in all American states except Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Vermont. Similarly, roulette is legal in all Canadian provinces and territories except Nunavut and Yukon, with Northwestern Territories having some limitations.

Michael Flynn of Omaha Productions spoke with Hard Rock Bet about the latest season of WWE Unreal and offered insight into the behind-the-scenes experience of working with WWE’s biggest stars.

Season 3 premiered on Netflix this summer, featuring emotional moments including CM Punk and AJ Lee mourning the loss of their dog, Larry.

The series also follows John Cena throughout his farewell year, giving fans an unprecedented look at his final chapter from behind the scenes.

Flynn, one of the show’s executive producers, discussed what it is like collaborating with WWE superstars and revealed details of the “generous gift” Cena gave to show founder and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

WWE Unreal Season Three is the Best Yet

Flynn opened up and spoke about how WWE Unreal was created and believes the show has got ‘bigger and better’ every year.

You must be delighted with season three, how do you reflect on it?

Michael: We are thrilled with it. It has been a project that came about a few years ago. Omaha and NFL Films already had this relationship with Netflix, where we do these follow-on documentaries. We did Quarterback—or we still do Quarterback. We took a break from it one year and did Receiver. Then this past July, we came back to do Quarterback.

So we had that relationship there, and then, at the same time, WWE became partners with Netflix, and Netflix became the home for WWE Raw. So we thought, “Wow, there’s an opportunity there to tell a different kind of follow-on documentary with a different kind of sport and sports entertainment.”

So, we all got together, approached WWE, approached Netflix, and said, “I think we can be the right partners to tell a behind-the-scenes documentary about WWE, the likes of which has never happened before.”

We just put out our third season. I would argue—and I am, of course, biased—that it has been our best season thus far. We’ve gotten bigger and better every year, and yes, all parties are incredibly proud of it.

CM Punk and AJ Lee are Incredible

CM Punk and AJ Lee deliver one of the most emotional parts of the season after their dog Larry passes away, and Flynn revealed what it was like to work with the two WWE legends.

A big moment is when CM Punk and AJ Lee’s dog Larry passes away, it created a lot of emotion to the season. What were they like to work with?

Michael: They are both incredible. I’ll start with Punk first because he has been one of our main characters—if not our main character—since season one.

In season one, episode one, we tell the story of his past and how he was this young kid in WWE who, self-admittedly, knew he was a superstar and would butt heads with creative, literally walked out of the company, was gone for, I want to say, almost 10 years in different organizations, became this older, more learned person, and came back to that same creative person he had butted heads with. They got together, reconciled all of their differences, and then it came to this great return.

He calls it the greatest return in WWE history. Still to this day, my favorite episode of the entire series is that episode one, because we spend all this time talking about this badass guy who left the company and then came back older.

Then he’s getting ready for the main event, and he has this brilliant talking-head interview where he says he suffers from what he calls “anticipatory anxiety.” I love that because that’s the whole purpose of what we try to do—to get behind the scenes and see the vulnerability and the people behind these characters.

For someone like that, who we’ve just established as this badass who has wrestled hundreds, if not thousands, of matches in his life, to still have anxiety as he approaches that main event is mind-blowing to me. I love it, and I love that he was vulnerable with us and open with us to tell that story.

Really, he set the tone for being that superstar who was open with us, and now, in the two seasons that have happened since then, we’ve had plenty of other people sign on and help tell their stories.

Then, to come full circle this year and see him talk about his wife rejoining the company and the change that she has helped bring to the company—and then, like you said, going through the death of Larry, which they admit on the show…

They’re a very private couple. It’s just the two of them and their dog. To go through that on TV with us and our cameras was amazing. Then, at the end of episode five, he gets through a WrestleMania main event and is still talking about how he feels vindicated.

For 15 years, he felt like this should have been happening, but he’s proud that it’s happening now. He says he’s the best wrestler at age 47, and next year he’ll be the best wrestler at age 48.

So he has been incredible to cover. AJ Lee this year was not somebody we knew was coming back or ever envisioned coming back. I think that’s the story we tell—that nobody knew this would ever be a possibility.

To see her come back in real time as we were filming it, and the pop that she got, and the reaction from the fans… Triple H says there were girls cheering in the crowd who couldn’t have even been born when she last appeared in a WWE ring.

Then to hear her talk about growing up in the early 2000s—I think she says she was an Attitude Era kid—the women wrestlers then did not get the opportunities that they get today.

They weren’t necessarily put in the best situations or given the types of matches that we would never have today. She came in towards the end of that and helped spin that wheel forward, like she says, not only to get the same respect, but also to get paid the same way that the men did.

Again, they’re a couple who give amazing talking-head interviews. She has this amazing line where she mentions that the change you fight for is not something you expect to experience yourself.

Being able to come back 10 years later and actually see the path she helped pave—her husband being there, women being given longer matches with legitimate female superstars—is great.

I think she calls it a “badass moment.” They’ve both been incredible to work with and deal with, and we’re happy they’re leading this season.

WWE Provide Unlimited Access

Seth Rollins features on the new series and it includes the moment he injures his shoulder and is ruled out of future plans alongside Bron Breakker.

What is it like when you are filming and something dramatic like Seth Rollins injuring his shoulder happens?

Michael: It is a scramble, but it’s more about making sure we have cameras in all the places we’re allowed to have cameras.

There are certain things that happen that we might not be aware of in real time, which we catch later and then tell the story afterwards. But it goes back to when we started this series. Anytime you’re dealing with a new organization, you’re not sure of the type of access you’re actually going to be provided. WWE was a new entity to us.

We didn’t know whether they were going to let us into the spaces we wanted to get into.

They’ve let us everywhere. We’re in the writers’ room with them all the time. We’re backstage at all of their events. We’re outside the ring and away from the business with their superstars. It has been incredible.

So it really speaks to the unprecedented access WWE has given us, and that’s what has made the series possible—and great.

John Cena’s Farewell Tour

John Cena’s legendary career is a major focus of Season 3, which captures his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event as he falls short against Gunther.

The 17-time world champion played a central role throughout the series, and Flynn praised Cena for his incredible commitment, highlighting the time, access, and content he provided to the show.

Another magical thing in the series is obviously John Cena’s farewell tour. It concludes with his defeat to Gunther, but in between you can see him speaking with Triple H, and they kind of pivot when something isn’t working to go in a different direction. What was it like to work with John?

Michael: He is amazing. Again, sorry to go back to the beginning of the series, but everybody was sort of hesitant because this is something that’s never been told before.

He agreed to do an interview with us for season one. He was great in season one, but I think there was still some hesitancy as to how it would come across and how we would tell their story.

Between seasons one and three, he came out publicly and said that we did an amazing job telling his story.

He gave credit to Omaha Productions and our partners at NFL Films for the way they told his story. I’ve interviewed him, and to let that come across on screen meant a lot because he’s one of the biggest superstars in the world.

We weren’t sure that, with him retiring, he was going to sit down with us for season three and give us another interview.

He did. He went out of his way to make sure he sat down with us. I think we were originally given a 45-minute window. He sat for 90 minutes.

If you’ve watched the episodes, you should hear it in the way he talks. He is so genuine. He was so thorough in speaking through every single part of his retirement tour, beat by beat, and admitting that some things, maybe, like you said, didn’t go to plan.

Triple H approached him in the middle of it and said, “I think we need to pivot a little bit here.”

He was completely accepting of that and went on with it. I think it made for a great story. He is incredible.

At Omaha Productions, our founder is Peyton Manning, who knows a thing or two about being a champion as well. Peyton recorded a video for John for his final Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., along with many other retired superstars and celebrities.

John sent him an incredibly gracious thank-you text afterwards.

Then, right before this season came out, John—again, we didn’t ask him to promote anything—but he tweeted our trailer, which is something we never expected in a million years that he would do.

Peyton sent him a text thanking him, and John sent back another incredibly gracious message. He’s the best.

Road Dogg and Triple H Are Best Friends

Triple H is the face of the WWE when it comes to making decisions and he features heavily across all three seasons.

What is it like when things get tense between people? For instance in the previous series, you can see Road Dogg gets emotional when speaking about R-Truth to Triple H?

Michael: It did. It’s what we wanted in the series, and I think it’s what WWE fans wanted too.

Obviously, we’re not in those rooms ourselves—we’re monitoring the robotic cameras that are there—and that was probably the top example of us thinking, “Oh, this is exactly what we meant when we pitched the series.”

When we were pitching it and saying, “You’ll let us backstage? You’ll let us into the writers’ room?”—that moment was it. It was so personal because Road Dogg and Triple H are genuinely best friends. He obviously cares about him greatly.

Again, going back to the Attitude Era, that’s Triple H talking to Road Dogg, talking to somebody he’s known for decades. So, it was cool to see, and it was exactly what we wanted.

Triple H comes across as a great boss and mentor to the WWE superstars, were you happy with the moments you captured?

Michael: Yeah. Again, it’s something I don’t think we expected. When you think of the wrestling industry, you think of these big, tough guys who maybe aren’t emotional and aren’t—going back to the word—vulnerable.

He’s great at making sure each and every one of his superstars is looked after and pushed when it’s the right time for them. He makes sure they are celebrated and that they feel any praise and everything showered on them afterwards is deserved.

Those are very real moments in Gorilla Position. Not only afterwards, but before matches too.

When he’s pulling somebody aside and telling them, “This is your first WrestleMania. I know you’re playing this beast of a character out there, but you need to look around and realise, ‘This is WrestleMania.’ Have that real-life moment right here, and never forget it.”

Watching him act the way anybody in real life would want their boss to act—looking out for their best interests and making sure they feel wanted and that they deserve what they’re getting—has been great. Those are natural moments.

Again, we have handheld cameras in Gorilla, but most of them are robotic cameras, and we’re just catching him here and there. Those moments are real, they’re great, and they make you feel good.

Season 4 Has Not Been Confirmed

Will we see more of Cody Rhodes for season 4?

Michael: I can’t confirm anything for season four. I legitimately don’t know. It’s not in my power to do that. But hypothetically, if we were to go forward, I would say that as long as Cody is in WWE, anything we would cover would include him.

Again, he was one of those superstars who was in season one, episode one. We got to know his family. We got to know the history with his dad. In season three, we’re with him visiting the WWE Archives.

We’re with him when he takes that brutal punt from Randy Orton. We’ve been through every single part of his journey. So yes, Cody is great, and I don’t know how you can tell the story of WWE without Cody Rhodes.

That punt to the head by Randy Orton as well…

Michael: There’s also a moment later in the season where Liv Morgan looks at the camera and says, “I am a sicko, aren’t I?” She takes a brutal head bump later on. It’s the same thing with Cody.

There’s a talking-head interview after that match where he says, “I could have moved my head a little more, but I didn’t.” These guys are professionals. They know what’s coming, and they know what they’re willing to do to tell a good story.

Baseball‘s playoff push is underway, and Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook is giving players even more reason to get in on the action.

From August 1 through August 31, Hard Rock Bet’s 10¢ Summer Sale brings MLB dime lines to its most popular pregame betting markets.

By reducing the vig, players get tighter 10-cent lines and better odds on either side of the bet.

What are 10-Cent Lines?

Known throughout the sports betting industry as dime lines, 10-cent lines reduce the gap between the favorite and underdog, giving players more favorable pricing on qualifying pregame MLB markets no matter which side they choose.

Less Juice. More Winnings.

Every sportsbook builds a margin into its odds, often referred to as the vig or juice. During the 10¢ Summer Sale, Hard Rock Bet is trimming that margin on eligible MLB pregame markets, giving players better prices without changing the wagers they’re already making. Here’s what that looks like:

Standard Odds

Miami +100

Atlanta -120

10¢ Summer Sale Odds

Miami +105

Atlanta -115

Eligible Markets

The 10¢ Summer Sale applies to Hard Rock Bet’s most popular pregame MLB Six-Pack markets, which include:

Winner (Moneyline)

Run Line (Spread)

Total (Over/Under)

The 10¢ Summer Sale applies to all qualifying pregame markets with odds ranging from -250 to +250.

Player props, alternate lines and live betting are not included.

How to Get 10¢ Summer Sale Odds

No promo code. No opt-in. Just better odds.

All eligible pregame MLB Six-Pack markets will automatically be listed at the reduced 10-cent pricing in the Hard Rock Bet app and website throughout the month of August.

That means qualifying Moneyline, Run Line and Total (Over/Under) markets with odds between -250 and +250 will already feature the reduced pricing, so you can simply choose your bet and enjoy more value.

The Best Time to Bet Baseball

As teams battle for postseason positioning, every game – and every price – becomes even more important.

By offering flat 10-cent lines on qualifying pregame MLB markets, Hard Rock Bet is delivering its best baseball pricing of the season.

Whether you call it the vig or the juice, we’re taking less so you can take home more.

The 10¢ Summer Sale runs through August 31.
