Six matches close out the group stage for Groups D, E and F on a pivotal Thursday at the 2026 World Cup. From a historic Caribbean fixture in Philadelphia to a marquee showdown between the United States and Türkiye under the lights in Los Angeles, every game carries knockout-round implications. Here is everything you need to know before the action kicks off today, Thursday, June 25 – from schedule and TV channels to the current World Cup betting odds.

Ivory Coast vs Curaçao

  • When & Where: 4:00 PM ET | Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)
  • TV: FS1, Universo, FOX One
  • Current Odds from Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook:
    • Ivory Coast: -650
    • Tie: +650
    • Curaçao: +1600

Ivory Coast look to wrap up Group E on a high note after beating Ecuador 1-0 in their opener and falling narrowly to Germany 2-1 in stoppage time. RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has been electric, while Inter striker Ange-Yoan Bonny provides a powerful focal point up front. Sporting CP center-back Ousmane Diomande has emerged as one of the most exciting young defenders in the tournament.

Curaçao, the smallest nation ever to qualify for a World Cup, are making their historic debut and have already exceeded expectations with a gutsy 0-0 draw against Ecuador. Goalkeeper Eloy Room produced a record-setting 15-save performance in that match. Dick Advocaat, the oldest manager in World Cup history (78!), will ask his side to play without fear in what is likely their final game of the tournament.

Germany vs Ecuador

  • When & Where: 4:00 PM ET | MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
  • TV: FOX, Tele, FOX One
  • Current 3-way moneyline Odds:
    • Germany: -175
    • Tie: +350
    • Ecuador: +400

Germany have already secured their place in the knockout rounds with a perfect six points from two matches, including a dominant 7-1 demolition of Curaçao and a 2-1 win over Ivory Coast. Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala have been the creative engines in attack, and Kai Havertz has been leading the team up top. Julian Nagelsmann may rotate, but the depth of this German squad means the quality drop-off is minimal. Deniz Undav scored both goals off the bench for the Germans against the Ivory Coast and may get a runout from the start this afternoon.

For Ecuador, it’s been bleak. The team are on the brink of elimination, sitting on just one point after a 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast and a goalless draw with Curaçao. Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo remains the heartbeat of the team, but La Tri have yet to score a goal at this World Cup despite compiling quite a bit of xG. PSG center-back Willian Pacho and Arsenal left-back Piero Hincapié anchor a quality backline, but Sebastián Beccacece’s side must find attacking answers in a hurry.

Japan vs Sweden

  • When & Where: 7:00 PM ET | AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
  • TV: FOX, Universo, FOX One
  • Current Odds:
    • Japan: -110
    • Tie: +240
    • Sweden: +325

Japan have been one of the tournament’s most impressive sides so far, drawing 2-2 with the Netherlands before dismantling Tunisia 4-0, their largest-ever World Cup victory. Feyenoord striker Ueda Ayase netted a brace against Tunisia, while Crystal Palace midfielder Kamada Daichi and KRC Genk winger Itō Jun’ya have provided consistent creativity. Real Sociedad’s Kubo Takefusa remains a threat off the bench or in the starting eleven.

Sweden sit on three points after a thrilling 5-1 opening win over Tunisia followed by a 5-1 collapse against the Netherlands. Arsenal forward Viktor Gyökeres and Liverpool striker Alexander Isak give Graham Potter’s side genuine firepower up front. A result here could be enough to see Sweden through, but they will need to shore up a defense that conceded five goals in Houston.

Netherlands vs Tunisia

  • When & Where: 7:00 PM ET | GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, Missouri)
  • TV: FS1, Tele, FOX One
  • Current Odds:
    • Netherlands: -1300
    • Tie: +1000
    • Tunisia: +3000

The Netherlands top Group F with four points and are expected to ease into the knockout rounds. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk anchors the defense, while Cody Gakpo, also of Liverpool, has been a constant attacking threat with his movement and finishing. Ronald Koeman’s side demolished Sweden 5-1 in their last outing and boast squad depth across every position, even without the injured Xavi Simons.

Tunisia’s tournament has been difficult. The Eagles of Carthage lost 5-1 to Sweden and 4-0 to Japan, conceding nine goals and scoring just once. Captain Ellyes Skhiri of Eintracht Frankfurt remains the team’s most influential midfielder, but the quality gap at this level has been evident. Head coach Sabri Lamouchi was sacked after the opening defeat, leaving the squad in transition mid-tournament.

Paraguay vs Australia

  • When & Where: 10:00 PM ET | Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, California)
  • TV: FS1, Universo, FOX One
  • Current odds:
    • Paraguay: +165
    • Tie: +125
    • Australia: +325

Paraguay bounced back from a 4-1 opening defeat to the United States with a gritty 1-0 win over Türkiye, keeping their knockout-round hopes alive. Strasbourg attacker Julio Enciso is the creative spark for Gustavo Alfaro’s side, while Brighton midfielder Diego Gómez provides energy in the middle of the park. Sunderland center-back Omar Alderete and Palmeiras captain Gustavo Gómez form a dependable defensive partnership that will be difficult for the Australian’s to break down.

Australia are also sitting on three points after an impressive 2-0 win over Türkiye in their opener was followed by a 2-0 loss to the United States. Watford forward Nestory Irankunda, just 20 years old, has been one of the Socceroos’ most exciting attacking options. St. Pauli midfielder Jackson Irvine provides veteran leadership in the engine room. Both sides need a result to keep their tournament alive.

United States vs Türkiye

  • When & Where: 10:00 PM ET | SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California)
  • TV: FOX, Tele, FOX One
  • Current Odds:
    • United States: -115
    • Tie: +300
    • Türkiye: +275

The United States have already clinched Group D with a perfect record, beating Paraguay 4-1 and Australia 2-0. AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic was sensational early against Paraguay, though a calf injury has kept him out of the roster since. The home crowd at SoFi Stadium will create an electric atmosphere as Mauricio Pochettino’s squad looks to cap an impressive group stage with a third consecutive win.

Türkiye have already been eliminated after losses to Australia (0-2) and Paraguay (0-1) leave them with zero points and no path forward. Real Madrid’s Arda Güler possesses world-class talent but has struggled to impose himself on either match. This one is about pride for the Crescent Stars, though the task of spoiling the party for a confident American side on home soil is a tall order.
